Microsoft Band 2 is a new tool that helps you easily handle your contacts but before that it should be paired correctly with your Windows 10 mobile device so you can see who is making a call in a quick glance. Pairing Microsoft Band 2 with Windows 10 mobile device is not a tedious task. It takes few steps and once done, you can check who's calling and receive notifications and reply in an instant or dismiss them right away.

Pair Microsoft Band 2 with Windows 10 mobile device

The first requirement, says Microsoft, is getting installed the Microsoft Health app on your phone. For this,  look for the App in the Windows Store and tap the link for your phone's operating system to download the app. While doing so, keep your Band and phone in close proximity.

Next, on your Band, press the power button and choose your language.

Then, swipe left and select the operating system your phone is running.

Swipe left and tap the Pair now button.

Now, tap the Microsoft Health app, tap Sign in, fill in the details of your Microsoft account info and hit the Next button.

If this is the first time you are signing in to the Microsoft Health app, agree to the terms and conditions of the app.

Enter your Profile info and again hit the Next tab.

It's time to select the type of Band you own (Microsoft Band or Microsoft Band 2).

Then, tap scan now followed by the same action for the name of your Band.

Switch to your phone. There, enter or select the pre-filled PIN code that appears on your Band and tap Pair > Next > Allow.

Now your band is qualified to receive notifications from the phone.

When updates for your Band are available, tap Start update.

Once done your Band, press the action button to start. A flashing arrow will point to the action button. Your Microsoft band 2 is now paired to your Windows 10 mobile. Just check out the Get started with your Microsoft Band 2 section to explore different avenues
