Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary Update has gradually begun rolling out officially. The Anniversary Update being the second major update brings many functionality improvements and new features like improved camera experience, a better and simplified notification system, Continuum and much more.

Improved camera experience

With the updated operating system, you now have an easy access to the camera button, it's right on the lock screen. Also, the camera now comes with a new panorama mode which lets you capture your pictures with a wider angle. You can select the mode from the camera screen only and capture the beautiful landscapes, big groups of people and lots more with no angle left. Just Tap the Panorama Mode and take the shot. Just start the shot and pivot the camera from left to right or top to bottom to capture the entire scenic view, tap on 'Done' to complete the panoramic shot. Other camera settings in Windows 10 Mobile include- Pro control buttons for precise control of each shot, Living images/videos, and slow motion and rich HDR.

Better Notification System

There is a new Glance Screen now on your Windows 10 Mobile for an easy access to the notification. You can turn the Glance Screen on right from the Start button and customize the settings according to your own preferences.

Continuum Support

Continuum is available for your device. You can now power or project to a second screen with your Windows 10 Phone and use it as a TV or a monitor and that too without using any wireless adapter or a dock. Just connect a keyboard and a mouse and get the wonderfuPC-like experience on your mobile phone with Continuum. Furthermore, you can use and enjoy the second screen while using your phone at the same time.

Project a bigger screen with your Windows 10 Phone and enjoy the Office Apps with Continuum. You can also browse the web or see the pictures saved on your phone on a bigger screen.

Speedier web browsing

With the latest Anniversary Update, you now get a faster and quicker web browsing experience with Microsoft Edge. Use the left/right to go back/forward buttons to switch between the web pages.

Cortana Support

Your virtual personal assistant is now on your Windows 10 Phone letting you schedule your chores and add reminders. Cortana on Windows 10 phone will also help you with navigation on the road by giving the turn-by-turn directions. Just click on the Cortana icon on your Windows 10 Phone and she will be at your service.
