The Inkscape project recently announced an update to Inkscape 0.92.0 release, bringing important bug and regression fixes, updated translations, and improved documentation. The app has sophisticated drawing tools with capabilities comparable to Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW as well as Xara Xtreme.
